Celebrate the life of Beah Richards when the powerful documentary "Beah: A Black Woman Speaks" debuts on Wednesday, February 25, 7:30 p.m. Written and directed by LisaGay Hamilton, formerly of "The Practice," it reveal the remarkable life of Richards, an African American actress, teacher, poet and social activist. Arriving in Hollywood, Beulah Richardson became Beah Richards and began a life of integrity, leadership and service to two cultures she loved deeply, the arts and the African American Community. Original arrangements and compositions were created by Bernice Johnson Reagon ("Sweet Honey in the Rock"), Toshi Reagon with jazz pianist Geri Allen.
